Howdy! I'm here to introduce myself. I'm CelticUprising, but you can call me Tommy. Yes, I'm really Irish. I'm a Leo (before AND after the shift). I'm left-handed. I enjoy long walks on the beach. I've been an avid gamer for over 20 years now. My descent into the gaming universe began with an Atari 2600, and I've owned every system since then. In addition to games, I also like reading, writing, drawing, wrestling, and MMA. And Bacon. Can't forget the bacon.

I actually stumbled upon this site completely by accident. I was looking for information on Mother 3 earlier today, and followed a series of Google-isms to here. I not only found something on Mother 3, but I got to play a fully-translated copy of the game while simultaneously being introduced to a site where all of the games I grew up playing still existed in all their glory. Truly, today was a good day.

Aside from what I've already stated above, I would also like to mention my seven year-old son, Xander. He's the spitting image of me, from hair & eye color to hobbies. He's inherited my passion for art and gaming, much to his mother's dismay. I love him to death. And, I'll be serving him a copyright infringement lawsuit on his 18th birthday. lol

Well, I guess that's all I got. I look forward to meeting the others around here, and playing some of these great games. Take care!

Thanks for the warm welcome. I've already taken the liberty of sinking knee-deep in the site, looking at everything it has to offer. Well, that and playing the crap out of Mother 3, heh. My internet connection was vandalized for a few days, so I wasn't able to visit. I'm making up for that now, though. Hip, hip, huzzah!

For starters... usually the majority of the forum's population happens to be BELOW the age of 21... you've been gaming for 8 more years than me... old school Atari... Grammar...

I feel it's the duty of every great American to stand up proudly and proclaim the greatness in human achievement known as Bacon. I used to be a little wary about gaming at my age, but then I realized I didn't care. Video games rock. Always have, always will. I'm glad that my son has inherited my love for them. It's comforting to know that when I'm old and gray and living off of my son, I'll be able to fall asleep in a Lazy Boy with a controller in my hand. BACON!!!
