It depends on the song. Sometimes the words are a little lacking but the way in which that they are delivered can more than make up for the lyrical shortcomings. A great example that immediately comes to mind is "Long Tall Sally" by Little Richard.

For sure--a lot of times at work the radio is on Jack FM or KLOS and sometimes the bands will just say the same dang thing for their song--it's real annoying to concentrate around. I like classic rock and such from the stations, just not that crud that will say the same annoying thing for their entire song.
