wow.... people went overboard today. I'm out of the race currently.... that was a surprise. But I have no realistic chance of winning this VCS.

geeogree : I believe people are overdoing it and burning themselves out. Didn't vizwiz win the last one by only getting first in a day, like twice? So that shows that first isn't necessary to reach.

Anyways, I think I'm gonna slow down. I went on what I felt was a massive spree, yet I'm only 6th. I'm not even going to try and touch sept for 5th.

yeah, I don't bother doing the posting war very often anymore. It tends to overextend your posting and results in later days not being as good. Plus with as many people as we have going for points this time around you don't need a win every day in order to be top 5 near the end.

I just always try to get first for the first day at least
Then I just set up my strategy, and just see how it plays out.
It worked last VCS, hope it works this time

I think that will always make a VCS a fierce posting battle...but like Geeogree said, hopefully everyone followed the rules...I know I did.

well well well. We already have a casualty of the crazy house rule. Poor septembern posted in there 20 times out of 82 and that is obviously over the 20% allowed. He loses his points for the day.

The_Casualty: I was shocked when I read Geeogrees new rule cause I haven't heard of it before. I stopped posting in the crazy house at a certain point cause I didn't want to get carried away...fortunately I didn't. PHEW!

I'm gonna lay low for the time being =P I haven't had the desire to post 100 times to win a day yet. Maybe later when you all die. But for now, I'm gonna wait to see what I'm gonna do.

First VCS here in October, I posted like 30 times in Crazy House. I had maybe 8 posts elsewhere. Geeo and Alex caught me, and I got a 3 day ban from Crazy House, effectively ruining my chances at the VCS in my eyes.

Although, now I barely post in Crazy House.

Well, I got top ten. I'm the only l337 active enough to do so . I'm really close to 3000 posts, maybe I'll work towards that today .

sorry sept.... those are the rules. At least you've only lost 1 day's worth of points and not 3 like leggy lost.
