I was for a while... until I realized how stupid it was to get really drunk. I don't like being that out of control. Although, I went 100% sober 7 or 8 years ago and haven't touched it since. It's for the best. Some days I crave having a drink because I'm stressed out but I figure it's better to leave it alone than to go back to drinking as heavily as I had.

If the party turns into a sausage fest and there is no tail for me to chase then sometimes I'll drink a little heavier than I should, otherwise I usually keep it moderate... I really hate hangovers.

Now the taste of alcohol makes me regurgitate. That stuff tastes horrible....

Back when I was in high school I got drunk on the weekends usually to the point of throwing up, blacking out, and not remembering a thing the next day. At parties I didn't get TOO drunk cause that's just a stupid thing to do. Get wasted around strangers....

I would just like to make one point that seems to be appropriate for this thread. I've witnessed many family members battle alcoholism, but seeing adults act so stupid... Lets just say I've learned that alcoholism is not a disease but a choice. So if you want to drink and have fun do it, just don't be stupid and let it ruin years of your life.

Nah, I hardly ever get drunk at parties. Hahaha, I'm usually the one there to help my friends if they get drunk. Oh what fun, but they thank me in the end. And it's nice to help others, so why not!

I am known to be an ass when I'm sober but when I get tipsy I notice myself saying the most polite things in the world. I am the guy at the parties that plays enough pong to the point where I cant talk anymore. Some parties I am the guy that looks out for everybody else, and some parties I am kicking people out. But my favorite thing to do at the parties is to grab my "BIG CUP" which is so big that it can hold 4 beers and chill and talk to new people and old friends.

I've drank WAY too much since i was 12. Throughout my younger years I've gotten TOO drunk hundreds of times. I'm 27 now. In the last few years I've slowed down enough that I don't drink every day anymore, and when I do I know my tolerance well enough to not go overboard. (from having so much experience)

I've always been around it. 98% of my friends and family drink & do other drugs. The 15 years of hard partying kind of forced me to slow down my lifestyle because it's finally caught up to me and I'm starting to feel it in my body. Mostly my stomach, which is all kinds of messed up.

I'm sure I'll never completely stop drinking because I like it, and my opinion on that is: If you completely avoid something you like then that thing still controls you.
