Hi ya all! I am mikealdh and I am new here. This seems like a really good site. The Viz concept and all the ways to earn or lose Viz makes sense and is pretty cool. The games themselves are good in my opinion and there is a good selection of them.


I do seem though to be having problems with the vizzed plug in. I read all the notes Davideo7 about it. I followed the troubleshooting procedure of making sure I use firefox instead of explorer,and turned off my windows firewall, and rebooted my computer and restarted my firefox browser.


Since doing that, about 3 out of every 5.5 games I have tried that have said they require the plug in, have not worked. Every time it doesn't work, I get a error message that says it can't access a certain BIOS file on my computer. Every time it does work, it works really well.


Now this is with a small sample size of games played. My system is a Compaq HP Presario with a AMD sempron 2 ghz processor, a Nvidia 8500 128/256 MB graphics card, 2.25 GB RAM 80 GB hard Drive.

I have Pop up Killer, Spyware sweeper, Norton,McCafee,Zone Alarm, Windows Firewall on my computer, but I have either added this site to the exceptions list, and or temporarily disabled or turned off these things to get the plug in to work.


Also maybe I dont need help, I don't know if I do or don't. Thats because the plug in notes did say that even with the plug installed and working, some games just won't work. Some of the games work and some of them dont and I get that BIOS error message. So if I need help, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks!



Now that I am done with the help thing, I thought I would go into a little more of a introduction about myself.

Final Fantasy series 1 thru 9 all good, 10 was barely ok, 10 2: a little girls game 11: ok,decent. 12,13 I haven't played yet. best of series F2,F3 for super nintendo F7,F8,F9 from the playstation 1. F7, and F9 were the best out of those 3.

For sure; I see that you've invested substantial time into this post and awesome that you've found the site, right? However, I'm not completely certain if BIOS has anything to do with the plugin; if I'm not mistaken, 2 or more anti-viruses installed simultaneously are conflictual of each other (Norton + McAfee for example). Not sure of your setup though, if they're both anti-viruses or have different features to where they're not. This might be the issue..

anyways yeah some games just might not work, but welcome to the site. If the issue persists without any help to this thread, you can always PM the RGR Staff and it will be looked into for sure!

Great list of RPG games! I have not had trouble playing most games here. They seem to work just fine for me; just make sure you use the plug in versions at the end of the play game list, without chat preffered for me. Just leavea comment in the indivdiual game if you are having trouble loading it. Maybe someone else is too, and we can get the word out.
