My Favorite Metroid game so far is Super Metroid. I like the Adventure of it and the different enemies and bosses.
I haven't really got to play any of the new metroids unfortunately.
Does anyone recommend one I should get? I might buy a new Nintendo DS if things work out.

Metroid has always been on my top 3 favorite franchises of all time. Personally I like Super Metroid the best. I practically know that game up, down, left, right, sideways, diagonally, and backwards. Lol I love that game.

metroid other m is the beest in my opinion. you can actually feel Samus' emotions in this game, especially when she finds Adams helmet in the end.... i love to play that song on the piano...

Update: Earlier in this thread I stated that I was still trying to beat the final boss in Prime 2: Echoes and that it is my favorite Metroid game. And I am here to say that I have beaten the final boss. And now after officially completing the game, I can confidently say that Prime 2: Echoes is my favorite Metroid. And I've played all of them, beaten almost all. Currently playing Super Metroid on the RGR and enjoying it immensely.
