There are 10 games in this series (11 if you count Shadow Dragon even though it's a remake).

It's probably my favorite series ever. They put a lot into the storylines and find a way to incorporate the mystical Fire Emblem into each game even though most of the games have completely new characters and continents. Only a few of the games were set as sequels, etc.

Some of the games are in the RGR. I would recommend Blazing Sword to any new players. You can find the English version of that game here:
