I just haven't felt up to (or had the chance to) write a nice, polished letter explaining "e-petitions don't work but this will" and all that jazz. Know what I mean?

If you want I can just add this to the post-Christmas to-do list along with the article. What do you think? I already had something similar written up that I sent to all users of this forum that showed interest in the early stages of the petition, so it should be easy.

To the supporters of the Chrono Trigger Remake Petition:

It has been some time now since you have signed our original Remake Petition, and we now feel it is time to inform you on our progress. After showing your support, we continued to get signatures for our internet-based petition and things were going as planned. However, we quickly realized that for our voices to be effectively heard by Square-Enix, we must adopt more ambition than is reflected in an internet-based effort. We thus devoted our time to constructing a hardcopy version of the petition that could be downloaded from our new website, https://vizzed.com/ctremake/. The petition has been completely rewritten to be more in agreeance with today's legal language and to be better received by Square-Enix. It is for this reason that The Chrono Trigger Remake Petition Group (CTRPG) must once again ask for your support on the road to a new Chrono Trigger.

Shortly after we decided to redirect our efforts, our team joined up with a small group from the Chrono Trigger: Remake Project forums to form what is the current CTRPG. We have been collecting signatures on hardcopy versions of the new petition from all over the country, and we are more hopeful of reaching our goal of 25,000 signatures each day. However, to do this, we need your help. The petition can be viewed and downloaded from the above website, from which point we are asking our supporters to print it and collect signatures from their local areas. At this point the petitions are all being mailed in to us, where we tally them and hold them until we are ready to send to Square-Enix.
