I have a lot of questions for you all... *sigh*

I met this girl through Facebook "RPing"...her name is Kirsty in real life...She lives in England, and I live in Massachusetts...But you won't believe me if I went on about how much we're alike...I love her, and it was hardly a crush...I got into a serious REAL long distance facebook relationship with her a while ago, but like a shooting star, it burned, bright, it burned hot, and it burned out too fast...When she broke up with me for someone local (good idea), she informed me she was moving to the US, and then it would be official with me again, and I don't know what to make of that. I need help with...

1. If she's not lying to me, how can I present myself at the airport?
2. How can I prove I'm not like any other Massachusetts boy for her?
3. I just need some support because this break up has broken my heart to bits.

1: Don't change yourself. Wear your best clothing and make yourself look nice, but don't go too far as to change yourself.
2: To be honest, if she can't tell that on her own, she's not worth the trouble.
3: I'm confused... is she moving to the US for you? Or is she moving there now because of her new local BF?

I would have to agree with Rasenganfan2.. just be yourself really, appearance is great so keep that up, but the most important thing is to really just be yourself. Don't try too hard to be funny or over generous, have a good time.. That is the key

Don't change yourself for someone else. If you act like someone you're not, then you'll probably break up. Be yourself and see whether she likes you or not.

One little concern:
Have you ever talked to her on the phone? This sounds like it could very easily be some creepy old guy who knows how to chat on Facebook. There are too many of them in the world. The two of you meeting at an airport sort of reduces that risk, but you should still be cautious until you are sure she is who she says she is.

PyGuy : Well where do I start here? I guess the obvious thing would be for me to stress extreme caution with those you may come across on social media sites. The bottom line is you never know who you’re talking to unless you have a previous association with them in some way etc.

The other thing I will tell you is I have done a couple of long distance relationships when I was younger and although you may have feelings for someone the fact is it is very difficult to have a real relationship with someone from a distance no matter how well meaning and how intent you and the other half may be.

You’re young so you don’t need to be worrying about this kind of stuff right now. What most important is getting you’re schooling everything else should take a backseat to that. As far as what you should do, I wouldn’t simply just do away with it because as I said unless you have a previous association with someone before hand you never know who you may come across online and it isn’t worth the risk to just take someone’s word for it at times.
