Brawl is one of the best multiplayer games on Wii. It doesn't always work well online, but it's great if you ever play games with other people. It's also got a storyline that is actually decent. That story takes around 60 hours for players who usually go through games quickly.
I'm not particularly interested in Sony products so I can't really speak for or against PSP.
I've actually been on Ebay a lot over the past week getting old N64 games. I just want hard copies of them. I learned that there are a few good ways to bid. You have to decide on your absolute maximum bid before you do anything else. In case you don't know, your max bid is not revealed until someone outbids you. Until then, Ebay just increases your bid by a bit more than what the last person's bid was as soon as they submit it. So you can end up paying less than your maximum bid. It all depends on how other people bid.
1. You can bid in increments (a lot of people do, but I don't prefer that way).
2. You can put in your maximum bid right away and watch as other bidders bid in increments, but still fall short. If they outbid you, just forget about it and find another auction.
3. Wait until there are 15 seconds left in the auction, then bid your maximum amount (don't bid at all before that). That way they won't see it coming when you outbid them and they won't have much time to try to outbid you.
After a week of buying, I found that 3 can be the most successful. 2 was useful for discouraging people who thought they were smarter than me. The people who bid using 1 were the people I was able to beat easily. When I used 2, I just watched as they bid over and over again and were always outbid. Eventually, they just gave up.
You can also use a handy trick that Ebay does. After you run a search, set the "Sort by" to "Price + Shipping: lowest first" and limit the search to "Buy It Now" only by clicking the "Buy It Now" tab. Buy It Now items can be easier because you don't have to worry about auctions at all. I usually use the cheapest Buy It Now item to determine my maximum bid if I determined to buy from an auction. That way, if I lose I can go back to the Buy It Now listing and just get that.
Those are my tips from a week of purchasing.
