so I bought minecraft and I want to know how to set up a minecraft server.... on a mac (but also need pc help too) so I really want to get a multilayer world working, I have tried looking on minewiki that sort of puts me in the right direction, but I still can't even make the multiplayer thing work with more ram.
Yes this computer is in fact wireless connected to a router.
No I do not know a thing about mac, but my friend does.
NOTE: I may not reply very soon, sorry
Oh also I might want to set this up on windows as well I just want simple instructions not that I need it.

Shane : i'd assume you're not much for hacking on Windows, as Macs have almost no capabilities at all compared to Windows. Of course, my personal favourite is Linux, but each to his own i suppose.

I know, I have tried to do that... I don't know how many times.
Minecraft Wiki has an old file or info or something still it doesn't work. Maybe I am suppose to push something after I do this step, but I can't try because this is my friends mac, anyways I am desperate enough to make the server on my pc so yea
