I think Wii makes a lot of money from classic games and interactive games more so then anything else. Sure COD Black Ops flew off the shelves but anyone who has the option of playing that on Wii or something like that or that in PS3 will always chose PS3 just because its more natural that way. Could you imagine if they came out with Pokemon Yellow or Crystal for Wii, with new features and interactive game play that included the option of battling as your pokemon or just simply keeping it the gameboy color style. It would be a big hit and money maker for them, but a lot of work as well and for Wii they are not focusing on that so much right now as how to keep it competing with Xbox Live and PS3 for Shooter games and what not since Wii is still in last place for those types of games and thats where the money is.

Will they stop coming out with new crap pokemon games that border on making them lose money and just go back to yellow and crystal for wii in the feature, possibly but I wouldn't hold my breath. Every pokemon game since the GBC/DS has been a complete failure for them, Reviews never go above 6/10 and they never make money like other games for them. Just how it is right now and for the next year they have no plans on changing that, farther out I cannot comment on as there is no public information available on that.

we all should make a letter to Gamefreak telling them that they should make a game similar to pokemon soulsilver or pokemon ruby for the wii. I mean people who are playing the game on the ds are having twice as much fun as the people who don't own the ds. Come on, Gamefreak! Do something different! Specificlly, this!

Umm you would have to write to nintendo not gamefreak. Nintendo is owns the franchise, and the game system. Gamefreak is just some software, unimportant and replaceable.

Being a wii owner and a pokemon lover, I would say that they DEFINITELY need to make one. It would be cool and the classic controller could be used if wanted.

If your speaking about playing White and Black in 3D then yes it would be pretty sweet that they consider making the DS version 3D on the Wii.

I read an article recently about how Nintendo said they will never make a Pokemon RPG game for a home console (RPG game as in stuff like G&S, R&S, D&P, B&W). Though with the 3DS coming out this month and it's capabilities being a bit better than a GameCube (and in some forms the Wii), I think we will all get a 3D Pokemon game soon enough. It'll just be on a handheld console as well.





BTW, on the same article Game Freaks mentioned they are already planning a Pokemon game for the 3DS.

With Nintendo you'd expect them to put a Pokemon game on the Wii . Go figure.

not sitting on your couch clicking at a screen thats why they kept the stadium series going
i'm not hating but i think that would be the downfall of Pokemon is to take the series to the home consoles

I do agree, I think it's overdue for Nintendo to create a original Pokemon Wii style, like Black/White, but in a different version.

Yeah man that would be cool to see them advance the game to its upper level. They should put a big world to it, and all of the Pokemon ever created, and plus. I'll play it. I love Pokemon games.
