I don't remember ever breaking up with someone during a big holiday, or someones birthday. I always feel bad when that happens to people. I just don't understand why people can't do it another day, rather than ruining someones holiday or special occasion.

One thing about me is i don't ever do the breaking up, they leave me and its simply because i couldn't handle the reaction i think i can take it much better if i am the one that is "dumped" but no it hasn't happened to me yet, i thought for sure it would have happened this coming Christmas but no it didn't

Totts : No I’ve never been dumped on Christmas but I did get dumped on my birthday years ago. In either scenario it wasn’t an enjoyable experience. I’ve been pretty much single since this happened so although I am over it and am to an extent grateful for it because it saved me a lot of what would have ended up being unnecessary stress, I kind of wish that it didn’t happen the way that it did though I am glad that the relationship is over and has been over for many years.

Yes. My first boyfriend called me on Christmas day to tell me he didn't love me anymore and we could never see each other again. Of course it pretty much ruined my Christmas because it was so sudden...
