I'm glad you like the Janus + Alfador petiton so much. I thought it came out quite nice as well. Since you requested it, I suppose I can allow you to let the public to use that one. Though... the whole "requests" idea was for personalized petitions.


A little later, when I manage to get some more time, I shall make the edits to the Lavos petition. I actually didn't see your tip about making the Lavos petition gray. It shouldn't take too long to do.

As for reformating every petition already out there, I'd have to disagree with you. I realize that you like specifically how the Janus + Alfador petition looks, but it would be extremely difficult or maybe even impossible to get the same look for the others. Why? Because the way Janus was positioned, and his size, was PERFECT positioning him in that manner. The canvas for the other characters is a vertical rectangle; whereas Janus's cavas is a smaller square. Unless I squished the images (thus making them look sorta nasty), I wouldn't be able to fit them in like I did for Janus. I don't mind the look of the prior petitions too much anyway; though perhaps later on I'll play around with photoshop and see what I can come up with.

Yeah, I kinda thought that was the case. It would be really hard to make work. But yeah that one worked perfectly.

I was thinking you could simply cut off the bottom portion of the other character pics, and move the remainder down to the signature area. There's no need for squishing (though the mental image of a character like Magus being squished is making me laugh out loud) -- only cropping is necessary in this case.

But if it's completely impossible, then I won't pressure you.

It wouldn't be impossible, but it would be kinda tough to get the sizes just right. It could be done, but it woudl be kind of a pain, and the other petitions look good already, so there really isn't a point.

Apoc, can you make me a custom petition with a picture of Rocky Balboa right after beating Apollo Creed? A picture of Rocky would really motivate me to get out into the world and give getting signatures my all.

Very well. If I can find a good image of that, then it seems the next petition I make shall have Rocky Balboa (gotta love the Italian Stallion). Of course... it doesn't really hold any relevance to CT. Then again, this would be a personalized petition just for your use... so it wouldn't really be that much of a problem. I'm sure S-E would be sort of amused with a lone petition having Rocky on it. NEW SECRET CHARACTER!!!

Yea... I realized I could crop everything. That could make it work, but it would be a pain to get everything just right for each version. I'll probably try it out later on, when I have more time, but the originals aren't so horrible to put up with at the moment.

Hahaha, awesome. If there are any objections from any of you, voice them. I'd be fine with any petition copy, I just think it would be funny.

On a side note, my new post layout is almost ready. It's gonna be so awesome people will come to sign the petition just because they know they'll get to see it.

They are already coming just to see mine, why would they come to see yours?

Also I am going to think up a really funny one....

I was thinking of working with the picture seen above at some point in the future. I believe someone (I think it might have been one of the old developers) from CTRP posted this a long time ago. I always thought it was pretty funny... so maybe I'll do something with that later on. The Magus fans would rejoice.
