I think we could put a Lavos petition in the Extra Downloads thread without sparking an NPC fight. He's the main bad guy; that makes him special.

Well, here's the Glenn picture. It looks nice, but it has Cyrus in it...and would definitely cause an NPC fight if we made it available to the public. So if you want it made into a petition, Michael, it'll have to be for your private use only.

In other news, I found another picture of Alfador!



He's nice and big in this one, too. Apoc, do you think you could crop the picture around Janus & Alfador, and use it as a petition for me? My favorite color is blue...

Ok. I'll work on the pictures that were requested. A petition shall be made with Lavos; and another with Janus and Alfador. When I run in to a bunch of time; I'll make those up for you. In other words, probably around Wednesday. Then again... due to the crazy assignments I get... I suppose it would be wiser at this point to not give any deadline. When I DO get the chance to work on them though; I SHOULD be able to pop them out pretty fast.


About the Alfador/Janus picture... I probably could take out Queen Zeal. Depending on a few factors, I can either do it the easy way... or the insanely difficult way. I suppose I'll see when I do it. I'm not 100% sure about this one though. If I do it, it will be one of the only pics to not have a "border" around it. It probably won't make THAT much of a difference, but it is something to consider. Like last week; I will probably be pretty busy up until the end of this week, or Wednesday. Depending on the assignments I am given, I may or may not be very active over the short vacation.

Wow, something I just noticed -- Queen Zeal's hair looks exactly like Lavos's shell in that picture, with the front of her tiara forming the "head". I wonder if CuteLucca drew it that way on purpose? If so, it is a marvelous subtle detail.

I somehow find that highly unlikely... I mean, don't get me wrong, Lucca's a genius, but somehow I just don't think she'd... Well, whatever. Zeal's hair was styled that way in her original art by Toriyama though, so I think ol' Lucca just followed that and made the hair thinner, and added more definition to the tiara. But anyway

That is a good observation. I would not be surprised if that was what she was actually going for. I do not know Lucca like you Jake, but most artists with talents like hers generally try to put more than the obvious in their art. That having been said, I would still be impressed if that's why she designed it like that. That's a very creative allusion.

I agree, Prop. It's like the picture's saying, "Queen Zeal has Lavos on the brain".

Hey guys. As was requested, Lavos and the group of Janus and Alfador have had their own versions of the petition made. The Lavos picture took only a few minutes... but Janus and the famous purple kitty took quite a bit longer than that. Regardless, I think both turned out pretty well. Of course, that is also for you guys to decide. Take a look, tell me what you think. I'll make any changes (if possible) that are requested.

The Janus and Alfador one looked good, but the Lavos one looked strange. It said something about the site exceeding it's allocated data transfer. lol. I guess you will have to email them to Jake if or something so he can put them up where he wants them to be hosted.

Apoc, I was hoping you could tint the Lavos petition gray -- that's what I meant in my original request when I asked you to "grayscale" it, but not tint it any particular color. I thought it would be fitting if his petition was the only one without color -- just black, white, and shades of gray.

The Janus/Alfador petition DOES look incredibly awesome. But Apoc, could you center the picture of Alfador/Janus on the page some more? Right now it looks like it's too close to the bottom of the page. Thanks!

EDIT: Actually, on second thought, leave the Janus/Alfador petition as-is. It looks great right now, not being blocked by the text farther up the page. Thank you so much for making it for me, I love it!!

I really think we're on to something here. Maybe we should alter the other petitions' images so they're like that one -- borderless and with their faces placed in the areas where the signatures go. This Janus/Alfador petition looks so perfect (I changed my mind about it when I looked at the Print Preview. It gave me chills!) that I find it a shame we can't let the public use it.

I would think that one would be ok, since he is Magus. But yeah I was going to say sorta the same thing, I wonder how some of the others would look done that way. But then you might be using the original artwork instead of the tinted ones we already have on there.
