The best way to find ram is to figure out what kind it takes. Mostly Likely DDR2

Then go to Newegg.com and order it there. If you do not have a CC to purchase things online, then you can buy ram at Best Buy, Staples, Office depot you know places that sell computers and computer accessories.

Your best bet would be finding out what kind of RAM your laptop currently uses and buying another stick of that.

However a few things to be wary of:

1 Make sure your laptop RAM can be upgraded.
2 Make sure you are running a 64 Bit OS otherwise Windows only sees 2 or 3 GB of RAM.
