Personally I would check out Mario and Luigi Superstar Saga on GBA. I just beat it and had a great time playing it. I would also check out the Shining Force Series if you like RPG's

I think Pokemon Stadium 2 is the best game to play on vizzed cause it's endless fun and a great way to pass the time. :p

This is going to sound weird, but I personally like the Atari 2600 games. A lot of them have good gameplay, which they kind of need because you can't rely on graphics or sound to sell the game. Oh, and A2600 games are apparently free now, which is pretty awesome.

Another good console is the Nintendo Entertainment System, for reasons similar to the A2600 but with better graphics to boot.

My personal recommendation if you go for the Atari would be Adventure or Mountain King if you like classic-style fantasy and Pitfall if you like challenging little platformers. Not all of them work properly, though.

For the NES, I'd recommend Final Fantasy for the RPG player, Contra and Metroid for platform-shooter lovers, Tetris for arcade-style puzzlers, and Cheetahmen II if only so you can see that it is really as bad as they say.

Another classic is Star Fox for the SNES (or Star Fox 64/The Lylat Wars for Nintendo 64), which I've heard called the only flying sim/shooter to get that particular brand of third-person perspective right.
