I get offered odd jobs regarding graphic design, and I have turned a few down. One was because the person didn't understand how the process of commissioning an artist works, and I didn't want to do work for them without assurance that I would be paid for my efforts. Another one I had to turn down because it was mindless and I hated it, and also because the guy got into a fight with my family and I had to stop contacting him.
