My friend is a 'daddy father' to 4 partners with 5 children, he calls it his pride. I am not saying I agree with his actions, he has to pay a fortune in child support, but he say its his culture and I know the women and they are all aware of the score.

I myself am planning on one partner, period, end of story.

My mom has had three partners to make 5 kids.

Someone in my family had a child with a woman, but she didn't want to marry him (can't blamer her). Eventually he met someone else and had two kids with her and they got married.

I personally think stuff like this does more harm than good. 5 kids from 4 different women? How much time does he spent with any of those kids? They are missing out on the father figure they need in their lives. Male role models are important for both boys and girls and this sort of situation doesn't fulfill those needs in my opinion.
