I don't know if anyone is going to admit to this here, I am not even specifically talking about affairs, just where you were dating two (or more ) people at the same time. My best friend was seeing one guy and then found another and said they both gave her different things, it all ended in tears but she did it again a few years later.

There were a few times in my life when I was younger that I was dating more than 1 girl at the same time. Although I made sure I was totally up front with them about how I wasn't looking for anything serious..that sort of stuff.

As some people already know, I am dating 3 people currently (1 is online), and it's a real juggling game. I admit, I am a player. I'm not proud of it, but it is what I do in a relationship. One day I hope I can find one girl I love enough to change my ways, so to speak, but currently I don't expect to change in the near future... although there is one girl I am dating who has made me think, maybe she could change my mind =P

Once, a very very long time ago, I did something rather stupid...I dated a couple of sisters simultaneously (this was oh, about 14, 15 years ago). Needless to say, it ended badly. very badly. Learned my lesson from that, never again. Besides, one partner is enough to juggle, let alone two or more!

I have an imaginary lady friend right now but she doesn't know that I've been checking out other women (specifically this one lady at the bus stop . In all seriousness though, I have never really had a girlfriend. I have only felt that strongly about one person and that didn't work out in anyone's favor. It doesn't bother me though. Every dog has his day. I'm actually very happy and I see my friends even less now. The reason I think is because I've actually focused more on my work (with less distractions) and I have taken a real liking to writing again. My professor said some kind words about me and that only further motivated me to switch majors to English. You really need to learn to make yourself happy. If you can do that, the other things should come in due time.

i haven't done anything like that but i will admit to being a victim of it, this girl that i liked decided she wanted to date me and we started going out and she turns around and starts dating this guy that i didn't even like because he buttered her up... long story short she ended up with him and he ended up breaking her heart...

Totts : I don’t know what you’re friend’s particular situation was or is but more often than not when someone decides to play both ends of the field for lack of a better term at the same time it is pretty much a recipe for disaster no matter how one may look at it.

It could be a case of maturity issues that would lead one to putting themselves in this kind of predicament. I do not judge but I feel it is always better to end one relationship before beginning another.

I do also know what it’s like to be in a relationship with someone and either have feelings for an ex or, be in a relationship with someone who does not have the same level of commitment if at all as you may have to the relationship.

In both scenarios it hurts… especially when you care for someone. I speak from personal experience here. I have had my share of obstacles when it comes to relationships but the one thing that I can say is that I have never stepped out on someone who I was in a relationship with. I freely admit that I am old school even at times when it may be to my determent but this is something that for better or worse I hold my head up high about.

In regard to still having feelings for someone despite being in another relationship well… the only thing I can say is that if you’ve been in a relationship with someone that spans a significant period of time and the relationship for one reason or another doesn’t last; it isn’t always that easy to turn feelings for someone you care for off even if you’re perfectly happy in a new/current relationship.

I have been single for a few years now and despite some relationships of the past ending in ways that I wish were different and although I have regrets in regard to some relationships I still care for some of the people I have been in relationships with. Even if in some circumstances some ex-girlfriends have not been in my life for years.

I haven't but i know a few people who have. Never ends very well.

That is why I tend to avoid commitment - I like too many people in the same time.
And why choose one haha? OK, I couldn't ever make up my mind nor know if they see me as a fling or something else.

No, never. And I really doubt that I'll ever do this.
I like to be honest and clear with the others. I don't enjoy using people as they were things.

Yes, long ago in high school... but the older relationship was kinda non-existent... I was really just a show-girlfriend because he was still in the closet.

To me, this was not date DATE. It was during break (my gal was in ohio with her family) I went with this girl named amber and she was hot. People who know me KNOW ME, please don't tell my girlfriend

legacyme3 : All I can say is: you better let them know! If you don't view romantic relationships as important right now, I'm not one to tell you how you should treat them. But when it comes to other girls feelings, you better make sure you let them know how lightly you feel about their relationship or you really don't have much honor or manhood.

I for my part always was a bit of a player and flirt, though I was also very loyal, so once I start an "official" relationship, I don't even look at other girls.

I worked it all out. I dumped two of them and am actually engaged to the other one now. I made a decision I am very happy with, and I wouldn't trade her for anything.

No way. I've never even been with more than one person at a time. I just wouldn't be able to do that. I'd feel so terrible about myself.
