Hello there.

To be honest, I'm kinda surprised no-one's talking about this. I saw a copy of the special edition of Super Mario all-stars for wii at walmart for $30.00. I picked it up, knowing the features that would be in it, and the nostalgia factor these games give me. However, My nostalgia turned into disappointment when the bonus items with the package didnt do mario Justice. There was a cd of mario's greatest hits, but that was mainly sound-bytes of warp-pipes, coin-collecting and life-collecting. There was a history book, but it didn't cover very much, (No Mario GBA titles?) So, that brings me to my question, is nintendo getting lazy?

I think Wii games are probably very expensive to make (when you factor in every little detail). This would also consume a lot of Nintendo's resources. I think it's more that it takes a lot to produce a game for them, so they don't release as many games. Also, if they're focused on bestsellers, they might be a bit cheap with bonuses.

I don't think Nintendo is getting lazy at all. The still are setting the major trends in the gaming industry. The have sold tons of Wiis for years, and now every other system is rushing to get Motion controls out some 5 years after the Wii's release. Now Nintendo is probably planning on releasing something else soon....We already know the 3Ds is coming next winter I wonder what the next console will be.

Maybe I'm seeing this differently, but you guys do bring up good points. But still, try not to hype up mario's 25th birthday game when the bonus's to it which, to some people mean buy or not, aren't that good. But stil, they did just release DKC returns 2 weeks before this, and they are working on the next zelda, so I guess I can forgive them.
