Hello there, honorary members of the awesome club!

This thread is similar to the "Off-Topic" thread in the Underground, except it's exclusive to Awesome Club members only. Anything and everything goes, really, as long as it follows the general rules of the board.

I want to lay down some base rules:

To some of the members of the Awesome Club that aren't Trusted+, this is a privilege to you because you aren't allowed to post in the official all-around off topic thread. DON'T MESS IT UP. Posting a lot in here is encouraged; just don't make it a way to boost your post count un-fairly.

So, with that started, lemme post my first topic: What did you guys have for breakfast?

Cool, I'll begin. This seems like a nifty thread but may I change the topic? OK so I was working all day today and let me tell you, at the end of the day I realized that I could have made it doing just about nothing. College is funny like that. My presentation is Thursday now, I did my writing assignment wrong, and yeah. Funny.

NotJon : Well, I think sammich posting is allowed in this instance.

Anyways, that sucks. How long was the assignment you did wrong?

Well, I had to revise one of my essays and write and introduction to my portfolio. However, I did all of the work on one of the laptops in the library. You only have 3 hours to use them, if you don't hand them back in, they charge you by the hour. Anyway, I didn't even know that I had to do that until Monday morning. I still had to do finish my slideshow presentation and the essay for that too. I actually finished everything with about ten minutes to spare. Unfortunately I printed each assignment out but I accidentally just printed out the essay for my presentation twice instead of my revised draft. I shut the laptop off too so I had no way to get it back (it deletes all info once it shuts off).

The good news was that I just brought in my regular, unrevised essay instead and I was fine. The introduction to my portfolio however was wrong. I had to do that over. Also, I'm presenting on Thursday so I could have gotten away with doing nothing for that lol. It's ok though. Two more days (Thursday and Monday) and the semester is OVA!

NotJon : Wow! By the way...what's your major in college?

NotJon : Hmm.

My semester ends Jan. 17 of next year, which is a godsave for me (I need to get that C up in math).

But I'm only in high school.

the_casualty : I wouldn't worry about it, worrying solves nothing. However, it's always good to care. I was always like that in math in high school. Once you get to college though, you realize how little grades from high school have to do with anything. That's when the grades really count.

NotJon : Well, all that's important is that I stay above failing. Basketball is coming up really fast, and anything below a C in a class makes me inelligable.

Oh yeah, I forgot that you're in sports. I wish I signed up for baseball when I was young but at the same time I'm glad that I didn't. Who knows...I may have turned out differently...like a jock (gasp)! Eh I don't like thinking in what-ifs.

Talking about Sport eh?
I'll have you know I'm pro at tennis. Come see my trophies in my house.

Geldra : I want to see your trophies! Where is your house?

the_casualty : YOu should know this! It's in someone's office!

I have a couple of trophies and medals myself. The medals are for track, and the trophies are for basketball. MVP, and 2nd place in the division, I think.

the_casualty : well the main reason the off topic thread is locked to non trusteds is because they are the ones that originally came and ruined the first off topic.
Not saying your guys will spam this up, but because anyone can see this and post in it it is possible it could get out of hand.
I'll have to think about this for a bit, but I'm leaning towards that since we already have the other off topic this one might be closed.

Shall we discuss how the western society has changed throughout the years, how technology has overcome us and how Bill Gates is a Philanthropist?
I'll start off. THe western society has changed a lot throughout the years. More so inthe last century or so. We all know how much technology has advanced throughout the past century, and this, of course can be applyed to all nations. Gaming; for example. A century ago, we wouldn't know of such 'luxuries', whereas now, it's literally essential to have a video gaming console in a household.

50 years ago, people would be either dressed up in formal, normal clothes or be hippies.
Today....well, look at what's happening
