I used to kinda like Naruto, but it takes way too long to get to the good stuff, and nearly all the characters are whiny and angsty..I'd go with alot of anime other than Naruto, to be honest, but in this case, Shaman King.

Both of the Manga are pretty good, but Shaman King's overall tone was meh. Shaman King started to get boring after a while too, so much so that I quit trying to read it. Naruto still has my attention and it's got about 520 chapters right now. So yeah. Naruto is more likeable.

I personally prefer Shaman King. The characters are just more likeable and the fandom is much more tolerable. :3 Then again, I dislike Naruto, so I pretty much choose anything over it, lol.
