What are you guys doing for Samhain this year? I have a feeling that mine is either going to be spent alone, or with someome I've fallen for... but I'm not too sure yet.

I really wanted to initiate myself into Nocturnal Magick, but I don't think I know enough to be able to control that kind of energy.

SO I found this when I was brosing the "New Posts" and I was gonna leave a comment like...

Basically Halloween. It's especially celebrated by Wiccans as a new year, or a harvest festival. It's also an extremely powerful holiday, where a lot of magick can be done because of the high energies.

Because the barrier between this world and the spirit world is so thin at this time, Samhain is also a time to reflect on those that have passed during this year and honor them. You see this practice in other religions as well, especially the Catholic religion, which is the main Christian religion that celebrates All Souls/Saints Day. If you know much about Latin culture you will also know that November 1st is the Day of the Dead, which is largely a fusion of Catholic practice and old Pagan believes.

I worked on Samhain as a Monster on the Queen Mary. Seeing as it a very haunted ship, there was some trippy things that happened.
