Bionic Commando is great, loads of fun playing it. Downside is that on NES there's no game save and the one time I played through with breaks leaving the game on pause took 10 hours.

My two favorite NES games are Super Mario Brothers and Duck Hunt (which conveniently came together on the same cartridge). Super Mario Brothers was always fun. I never got tired of it. And Duck Hunt....well...come on it was Duck Hunt. That game was great. I wanted to blow the dog's head off though.
