It arrives in about a week.

I might actually start gaming seriously again now that I can play some new games.

I'm still using my Toshiba Win. Vista laptop, and I got it three years ago. I've used it so much that I've had to re-configure it to factory standards like, 3 times (lots of viruses ), and my mouse pad has completely worn out. Not being able to turn it off though... that sounds bad.

Nice like those numbers both for price and for speed and memory, and i agree i prefer desktops over laptops, if i really wanted to surf the web and work at a coffee shop id get a net book. And isntead of leaving it on why not just install linux? If you prefer windows though i understand but if your interested in linux once you get your new computer install linux on your old one to check it out. Later

I would consider trying out linux if this computer wasn't so old.... although, maybe I'll try it anyway. It can't be much worse than windows is right now.... maybe trying something new will fix my current problems.

Yay! I too am not a big fan of laptops. I had an old Gateway from the turn of the century that had like 18 GB of hard drive memory and it was just bad. 1.5 years ago I got this baby which even though it is only 2 years younger than that one, it's amazing how much better it is in comparison. Good for you man. Enjoy it.
