i am playing legend of zelda:links awakening and chose the left option of playing with the java and no plugin.. it says i must save in game first then save with the emulator... and i know how to save with the emulator cause u just double click the click save, but ingame i dont know how

Well considering keyboards are limited to 3 keystrokes at once and the game requires you to press A+B+Select+Start at once; I don't think you're gonna be able to save properly.

If I remember correctly, it's select + start to bring up the save menu.... I believe a+b+select+start is the in-game reset. Try the keys for select + start simultaneously. Additionally, it will be helpful to know if you are playing the Game Boy or Game Boy color version, as well as which emulator; either JavaBoy or VizzedAEPgb.
