I can spend hours playing with my cat, cuddling my rabbit and/or playing with her, coloring in a coloring book, solving different word puzzle, playing sudoku, and... popping bubble wrap! Yes, I would in fact do these things since they're pretty fun! In fact, I play with my cat with a laser pointer every day, and my rabbit is usually out when I'm watching TV or on the computer!
