I had to do that many times, when I was in primary school. Honestly, I don't remember any titles, because I was too young. All I can remember is how embarrassed I was feeling in front of all those parents and classmates.

I recited a slam poem as well as many other poems I wrote in front of my Creative Writing class. It wasn't too embarrassing since everyone else had to do it too. Plus most of the people were only in that class because they needed an extra english course so very few of them took it seriously. I wasn't one of those people, but yeah.

Mezz Cammin means halfway in Italian, and the poem signified how Longfellow's life was half over, and he feels he has yet to accomplish anything. It also describes how he can see the past behind him, and death waiting ahead.
