As it stands, both of them are really top card guys, and you'd have a triple Main Event

Bryan (presumably still champ) against Cody Rhodes would be fantastic (World Heavyweight)
CM Punk vs Chris Jericho (for the WWE Title)
John Cena vs The Rock.

That's three main events, all of which could make the crowd go absolutely insane if done right.

legacyme3 : Few weeks ago after Wrestlemania Cena told Rock the match would be for WWE Title, and he agreed, so if Cena gets no WWE Title then it should be a Fatal 4 Way (CM PUNK with Jericho) Other than that C.M Punk Matchup looks good but how about Danial Bryan vs. Sin Cara/Big Show or atleast Cody vs Sin Cara for Intercontinental.

If John Cena does not go into Wrestlemania with the Title. The match against The Rock will not be for the title.

They will not add people to the match, nor should they. If they do, it takes away from the match.

I know Cena SAID it would be for the title, but not everything said is true. Remember when Mark Henry said he was going to put Big Show back in the Hall of Pain. That never happened again.

Or better yet, Christian said he'd win his title back. He tried numerous times. Most of the time he was wrong.

Promises in story line aren't easily kept unless the other storylines allow for it.

CM Punk and Jericho should not get involved with Cena and Rock. They should be two separate matches if they happen at all.

Sin Cara won't be back for Wrestlemania. He says he's going to try... but I don't see it happening. He won't be back till maybe Over the Limit at the Earliest. The VERY earliest.

Big Show I could see involved, but only if he does take a heel turn. Otherwise it's not a Wrestlemania level event. Besides that, Cody Rhodes matches up better with Bryan. He needs to face competitors of his own size.

legacyme3 : I get what your saying, but sometimes story lines also alter throughout each week. They said the Rock would come to Raw on 1 episode but instead someone with heels come and that's it. I don't think that was supposed to happen. How about deaths? Eddie died when he was supposed to be at work. What about Andre? Feel free to answer but I won't post back because I hate sandwhiching a lot and I feel a bit irritated of sandwhiching now. Conversation was good, good luck in the competition

legacyme3 : Yeah, every time Jericho returns, it's not a surprise. When I seen the first video it was just like "Can't wait until January 2nd to see Jericho!" WWE has got to do a better job disguising his return's. ;p

As far as what they might do with him, I've heard he may be facing Punk for the title at 'Mania, which I would love to see personally.
I do think it's funny though that people say it was a heel turn. When he left he was a heel and he never said he would come back as a face. I fully expected him to return as a heel.

Then again, at house shows he appears to be a face...

By the way, I was reading some previous posts, and I agree: Cena vs The Rock should not be for the title. The match is big enough on it's own, there's no need to take away a spot from two or more people who could have an excellent match over the strap.

He's a new kind of heel. He doesn't neccesarily tell the audience they suck or are unimportant... no, he does the most vile thing a performer can do.

He doesn't give them what they want.

They wanted him to speak. He left without saying a real word.

Hence why people call him a heel.

But yes. I also find it hilarious he leaves WWE as a heel, comes back a "face" and then immedietly becomes a heel again.

Well tonight on the Royal Rumble, Sheamus won the royal rumble match! Jericho was so close to winning, but failed to win. Thoughts? I think its a good push for him to get out of mid carder status

In My view John L is Power Hungry and just wants to take over Vince's Job
and Teddy Long has never got a chance to Run Monday Night Raw.

John L has the Ring Exp as a former Road warrior Animal, But Teddy Long has the Manger exp and Teddy Long might  not have fought in the ring. But he has been the brains behind  The tag team "Doom" and after/ or before that he has ref in Wcw and WWE  so I think he would be more are to handle the job.  Since he has the past exp of the inner workings of ring both inside as a Ref and outside as Manger.. & Plus Teddy is a people person as well..

I've yet to finish watching Smackdown tonight...

but I'll comment on the Wrestlemania matches to this point

The Rock versus Cena - Is anyone else getting tired of this storyline? This week on Raw had to be the most horrendous one yet promowise, because the entire time The Rock was speaking, I just wanted him to shut up. I know what he's going to say, I know what Cena is going to say. Thankfully, Cena seemed to shorten his time out there, and was in the ring with The Rock for all of like 10 seconds... I just want Wrestlemania to come so Cena or Rock wins and this thing dies till next year's Wrestlemania. I'm also not liking how WWE is trying to get a "50-50 split" between the two of them. The fans are going to boo Cena because booing Cena is "cool". When in actuality, neither of them is all that interesting to me anymore.

Sheamus versus Daniel Bryan - I'm hearing whispers that somehow D Bry is going to weasel his way out of this match, so I'm not really interested in this match anymore. This will probably be the shortest match on the card, and that's how it should be. I may be in the minority here, but I want to see a quick DQ, where Sheamus beats the hell out of Bryan for a few minutes following, which leads to a big no DQ match at the next PPV.

CM Punk versus Jericho - Like with The Rock and Cena, I'm getting tired of this story line. Punk doesn't appeal to me, and I like him better as a challenger. As a champion, he is quite frankly, boring unless he's trying to fight Lauranitis. And with that on hold for the time being, I think now would be the best time for Jericho to get one last run with the title... sadly, they will probably keep the title on Punk... mistake.

Cody Rhodes versus the Big Show - Pass. This will be quick and painless hopefully. I just don't enjoy their feud. Let the embarassment of the Big Show at Wrestlemania continue... I was hoping he'd get to fight Shaq.

Undertaker versus Triple H - This is probably the only match I'm actually interested in. And for good reason. The Game and The Deadman have made their careers in the Hell in a Cell match... and now, we could be looking at an end to an era. Last year's match was close and there were times I thought the streak was over (I hate spoilers, so I never check rumors sites this time of year. I go off what I see on TV), and this year could be another close one. I think the Undertaker will ultimately win... but it'll be REALLY close.

Possible Team Teddy versus Team Johnny matchup?

5 faces versus 5 heels in a classic match could steal the show if done right... I'm thinking you could see the returns of Christian and Alberto Del Rio... which would be something. I'd like a team of Randy Orton, Kofi Kingston, R-Truth, Santino Marella, and Rey Mysterio (I'm really hoping he's good for Wrestlemania...) against Alberto Del Rio, Christian, Dolph Ziggler, Jack Swagger, and Mark Henry. This would be a massive match totally worth watching.

I would like to the Undertaker pin HHH again for the second time. Secondly I will pass on the Rock vs cena fight, because win or lose

I used to like wrestling, but I stopped watching it about 8 years ago. The product just got too watered down for me.

My favorite times were the WCW NWO days, and the early 2000's years in the WWF when the Rock, Mick Foley, Stone Cold and HHH were riding high on popularity.

I even went to a live Taping of Smackdown when they came here to Chicago in 2002

I'm hearing only Bryan can possibly win this one.

Punk all the way at this point. Jericho is leaving anyway at some point this summer.

Cody Rhodes-Big Show
Cody Rhodes. There's no reason for Show to win this.

Taker-HHH
If Taker loses we riot. He will probably retire undefeated.

Team Teddy versus Team Johnny
Looks like I was mostly right... it's a 6 man match instead of 5.

was my prediction. However Orton is off fighting Kane. And Rey isn't confirmed yet. As for Team Johnny.. Del Rio isn't confirmed and I forgot Otunga.

Anything but an Orton win would surprise me... but Kane needs this win.

There's probably something I'm forgetting...

I wasn't too excited for 'Mania in the beginning, but I have to admit, I'm really looking forward to it now. As far as the matches go:

Team Teddy vs Team Johnny : I don't care at all about it. It's the comedy match, WWE has said so themselves.

Orton vs Kane: Again, I don't care who wins. The premise for the match is Kane shook Randy's hand last summer and he feels he's becoming more human...lame.

Cody vs Big Show. I don't really care who wins, but if I had to pick, I'd want Cody to I guess. He's a young talent and the WWE should be pushing young talent...

Triple H vs Undertaker: I'm not a fan of either of these guys, and I don't know why, but I really don't want the streak to end at the hands of Triple. The major draw for me in this match is Shawn. I just want to see what my childhood hero is going to do.

Diva's Tag Match: Well, it should have been Beth vs Nattie or Tamina or Kharma...not a stupid 'celebrity' appearance match. I feel awful for Beth not having a title defence on the grandest stage of them all...That being said, I want Beth and Eve to win.

Cena vs Rock: I'm going for Rocky all the way. I've never been a fan of Cena and him attacking The Rock for leaving got old extremely fast. He accomplished everything he wanted to do and moved on. Stone Cold is making movies too, so why isn't Cena trashing him too? I don't really see this being a good wrestling match. I expect a lot of hip tosses, arm drags and posturing. Another thing...if these two lock up at the start of the match, it will annoy me so much. They hate each other, realistically why would they lock up? Just go at it and beat the crap out of each other...

Punk vs Jericho: I can't wait to see this match. It's going to be a technically sound match, a wrestling clinic. I want both to win so bad. If Jericho loses, then his return feels like it's been for nothing. If Punk loses, then the 'Summer of Punk' feels pointless. All this hype for nothing on both sides...Either way I'll be both happy and upset with the outcome, but I am leaning more toward Jericho since he's the hometown hero.

Daniel freakin' Bryan vs Sheamus: I think Daniel is the best wrestler in the WWE. I really want him to win. Do I think he will? No. I think it will be a pathetic beatdown. It shouldn't be. These two are capable of stealing the show. Wrestlers like Daniel bring out a technical side of Sheamus that's very entertaining to watch. I desperately hope these two are given the time to create an epic match worthy of being on a Wrestlemania card. Sqaush matches don belong at 'Mania. These two men had their match taken off the televised card last year. I want them to have an amazing match tomorrow night on tv for the WHC. They both deserve it.

Epico/Primo vs The Uso's vs TYSON KIDD and Justin Gabriel: TYSON KIDD IS GOING TO HAVE A MATCH AT MANIA! Yes! Tyson is one of the most overlooked talent's on the roster. And I've been wanting him and Justin to team for a while now, so this is just so freaking awesome! I'm still marking out about it...

 

So Wrestlemania is tomorrow, so here is my predictions for the matches.

Cena will beat Rock

Undertaker beats HHH (Shawn Michaels will maybe screw HHH out of it or get involved in some way)

Orton beats Kane

Kelly Kelly and that celebrity chick I don't care about over Beth and Eve

Big Show beats Cody (Hopefully Cody will get a main event push after this)

Triple Threat Tag Match: Primo and Epico beats The Usos and Kidd and Gabriel

Team Johnny beats Team Teddy. Drew getting the winning pin over Ryder.

Extreme Rules is this Sunday, and I have the card right here. I also have predictions... you choose to read at your own risk

Extreme Rules Match
John Cena vs. Brock Lesnar
This match is going to be rather epic. Although I think it's a little too early in the feud for this type of match to just happen. Extreme Rules matches are brutal. Once this match is over, where do you go from here? Lesnar has to destroy Cena... as much as I want Cena to win. That's the only way this makes any sense.

2 of 3 Falls Match for the World Heavyweight Title
Daniel Bryan vs. Sheamus
I don't see the point of it being 2 out of 3 falls, but at least it won't be 18 seconds... right? This should be a well wrestled match. I expect Christian to get involved at some point in the match. Let's see where it goes...

Chicago Street Fight for the WWE Title
Chris Jericho vs. CM Punk
This is the match I really want to see though. CM Punk and Jericho are both good WRESTLERS. I want to see this feud end soon, so Jericho can go on tour, and come back. But damn, it will be a fun match to watch.

Intercontinental Title Match
Cody Rhodes vs. Big Show
This feud is stupid. I want it to end. Now.

Falls Count Anywhere Match
Randy Orton vs. Kane
Read above. This can do nothing positive for Kane unless he dominates Orton, and this can do nothing for Orton since we already know he's beaten Kane and beaten him badly.

WWE Divas Title Match
Beth Phoenix vs. Nikki Bella
Kharma is gonna be involved SOMEHOW. Say goodbye to the Bellas.

WWE United States Title Pre-Show Match
The Miz vs. Santino Marella
This though could be a compelling match. If given enough time that is. Santino will probably drop the title to Miz, but should be fun to watch regardless.

Daniel Bryan vs CM Punk for the WWE Championship...Yes! Yes! Yes! 

Imagine the wrestling! I’ve enjoyed their past matches in the WWE, RoH, etc, and I can’t wait to see this again. I completely marked out.
