I'm going with Total Recall simply cause that movie is awesome Though the movie is not really about space its about mars so I guess that counts as a space movie.

My Favorite Space movies is a slightly older one Called Lost In Space. When I first watched it when I was little I was so scared of the one small Alien in one of the ships scared me but the big scary looking always use to make me laugh. If you have never seen the movie its a good one to watch at least once. It has Gary Oldman, Matt LeBlanc playing 2 of the 3 really big characters in the movie I forget the other guys name

AS for Space flick, let's see..Star Wars or most Star Trek, I would imagine. Doctor Who doesn't count, tis a show, no movie yet and the ones from the 60s are...laughable.

Honestly, I'm a big fan of 2001: A Space Odyssey mostly for the visually effects, plot and attention span wise it's extremely boring but the whole scenery and visuals are a masterpiece.

Best Space movie of all time without a doubt is the original Alien movie.
