I doubt it... we will end up killing ourselves before that happens probably with nukes or biological warfare. We have the technology to stop something like that from happening but if the government wanted to reduce population they should go ahead and let a meteoroid hit earth

I believe that a meteoroid could hit the Earth in the future, after all it did in the past already. If there will be something left for it to kill, I highly doubt it. We would have done the job already

Lol, meteoroids are hitting the planet all of the time. I think you guys are thinking of larger celestial bodies like asteroids. Most meteoroids are pretty small and burn up passing through the Earth's atmosphere.

We actually get slammed with meteoroids large enough to knock out an entire city all the time. But our atmosphere burns it all up to the point where it's pretty much just a pebble. The reason we don't get hit with extremely large meteors very often is because it would require a very, VERY large meteor to cause enough damage.

So, we'll all be dead by then.

however, you're also taking about hitting a baseball with a golf ball in a base ball stadium.... the likelihood is pretty small.

I have to agree with most of the people on here, we will all be dead before something like that happens, so when a huge meteor hits earth it wont matter. But, if we arent dead...then we will probably be living on the moon, or chillin with the martians on there planet by the time that happens.
