Most peoples dream is to win the lottery and not have to work again and yet studies show that in the past when we worked in the fields long hours we were happier than when we had all the new machinery to do the work for us and we started to get fatter as a nation of non manual workers. Although, it would be awesome to be able to just come home everyday, get fat and do nothing, I like working because it keeps my productivity up an otherwise I would just sit at my computer desk all day doing nothing but eat chips and play games. (not very productive)

Actually, it'd suck if I didn't have to do anything but be lazy. I'm afraid of being lazy, and must have things I'm required to do. Even if I don't like schoolwork or chores, I'm glad I have them.

To be honest, I love to work and know that I did a good job at whatever I'm doing. Why else would I spend thousands on an "education" lol. It's sad how many people don't go out and get a job. But we also complain because of the jobs we end up having to do. Most people feel that they are above the work that they are doing, and that is wrong. There are jobs out there its just that we dont want those particular jobs because we all want to get paid to do nothing. The worst part of it all is that the higher ups get all the cash for doing just that, nothing. In my future job I'll get paid minimum wage to go out into dangerous situations and save peoples lives. And yet I'll be happy with that because I'll be doing what I love the most. So no I don't wish to never have to work again.

Totts : Well, I haven’t been able to work in the way that I would like this year so I am probably a rarity when I say I sincerely want to get back to work fulltime. It has been a stressful and extremely challenging year for me. In my case although it has it’s drawbacks and subsequent stress work is therapeutic even if you aren’t getting the respect or adequate pay that you deserve.

There have been times though where I have worked myself to such exhaustion that I would openly wish for a nice vacation. This year though is definitely not what I had in mind for a vacation.

I would go crazy if I did not work. Hell, I got back from Iraq and i had 30 days of vacation and by about day 15, I was already begging to get back to my duty station and get back to work. I do enjoy my lazy time though, but i get those by working my ass off and coming home feeling productive, makes me feel like i earned my video game time when i came home. So overall, i may like being lazy, only in moderation, days off and weekends and such are what i enjoy, if i ever won the lottery would still see me working, or atleast going to school more. But still would be productive in some way, shape, or form.

I'd love to never work at my current job again. If I won the lottery I would head off to an art school and get into concept art like I want to, rich or not. I just wouldn't want to stay at my current job if I didn't have to.

I know that some people just like to stay busy...but if you were rich, or money didn't matter anymore you could live a more fulfilling life on so many levels. Work robs you of so many valuable hours you could be using to do something better in your life.

I guess that is unless you are some sort of athlete, professional entertainer, or someone that has a job that really impacts society like scientists, or Doctors.

I think if we don't HAVE to work,but have a choice,we would still work.

Its because if we do absolutely nothing,we will get bored,then we want to DO something.
