I would love to have children one day and I would like to make one of them left handed. Southpaws are a rare commodity in baseball and the 4 greatest hitters (Ruth, Cobb, Williams, Bonds) were all left handers. I want to have one son become a great baseball player and make a ton of money (half serious). If I don't get a son, softball star!

I'm not sure on the exact numbers but like 100 left-handed people die each year from using items made for right-handed people. My sister is left-handed and I never could figure out that upside-down slanted writing thing that most left-handed people do. lol.

According to one of my old history teachers, people shake with their right hands as a greeting because most people have their right hand as their strong hand. If their right hand is shaking the hand of the person they meet, then they can't be holding a concealed weapon in their strong hand.

Left handed people were considered evil because they could shake politely with their right hand while simultaneously planning to harm the other person using a weapon held in their strong hand (left).

I'm a lefty, so I don't have a problem with it.

i read in a horrible science book that says left handed people are right brained and right handed people are left brained. they also say the left side of the brain is smarter and sportier but the right side is more musical and gentle. i think thats right. i feel troubled when a left hander sits on the right because we always bump arms.

I can't write with my left hand, unless you think writing illegibly is still writing. (Most teachers don't, so ya.) Anyways, one of my friends is left handed, and she's super nice! She's not like me, which means she's not lazy, grouchy, and cranky, and mean.
