I downloaded advance text to hack a pokemon rom. I can't get it to work. I even downloaded the comdlg32.ocx but it still won't work anyone have any idea what I should do?

I just went through this yesterday. Read this post:

I ended up having to do everything I posted. Download the .ocx file the right way. The .ocx file you need depends on which one is mentioned in the error message when you try to open the program. There are two different ones that I know of, but the YouTube video's method is the same for both. My post explains what to do for the one that's not in the video. The source that I provided in my post is definitely virus-free. I tested it with every program I have. I can't vouch for the one in the YouTube video. Put the file in the right folder. Authenticate it using Command Prompt.

Note: When using Command Prompt, generally a typo just causes it to reject the command (no problems). Sometimes, a typo may link to a different location so Command Prompt would accept the command and possibly do something you don't want.
