Hey everyone Im still pretty new to the website and Id like to get a game controller for my laptop. What type is good or should I stay away from? What are your thoughts on this? Does everyone on here use their keyboard or do a lot of you have controllers?

Hello Narg_Chosen1, welcome aboard. I use a PlayStation controller with an USB adapter for every game I play on my computer, no matter if it's on Vizzed or offline. I don't like to play with the keyboard, I can't memorize the keys so I have to look down often (which also kill me often  ). In addition, lots of games uses lots of buttons, and I just can't manage so many buttons on the KB, so I always prefer a controller (unless it's a point and click game  )
I have nothing to complain about my adapted PS controller, it has always worked very well with each and every game I had tried. And since I owned already a PS controller all I needed was buying the adapter 
Also, PS controllers have lots of buttons, so I never ran out of buttons
I don't use wifi mouse/keyboard so I cannot give any opinion on them, but I'm sure someone else will. However, I had never any trouble with wired Microsoft devices. Hope it helped! ). In order to use the controller, you mean? I don't use anything. I plug the controller on the adapter and the adapter on the USB port. I use XP and 7 and both of them do the job fine. The adapter came w/ a disk but I have never used it

I use the Logitech Dual Actionâ„¢ Gamepad for my PC game controller needs.
It has a layout that is suitable for most every game that should use a controller that you can play on the PC and is affordable yet good quality and comfortable to use. The Logitech Gamepad F310 or F510 might also be worth checking out, depends on what you like best though.

I use my PS3 controller + USB. It works like a charm

I have a Saitek P3600 Cyborg Rumble Pad which works great for me, but Saitek doesn't make it anymore nor do I recommend Saitek anymore because Mad Catz has really made their quality level go down the drain. I really recommend either of these two options, get a Xbox 360 controller or get a Razer Onza gamepad. |
