First a story:
Tuesday November 23, 2010:
I got bored one night. It just so happened I went on my computer and was on Google.com (props to them). I really wanted to play Bubsy, a game for the Sega Genesis I played as a kid. I looked up: Play Bubsy Free Online. Hours upon hours of searching had come up useless. I was about to log off my computer when suddenly I found the link to the most amazing site ever. That site was vizzed.com.

And now for the milestones-
Saturday November 27, 2010:
1. I became a normal member less than 4 days after joining. It really confused me because this is the normal rank requirements:
Normal member : After you've been a member for at least 7 days and have 10 or more posts, you become a Normal member. However, you do not get this power level until a day after reaching the requirements. Users of this power level do not have the restrictions that a Newbie Member has.
2. My other milestone is the 100th post mark was passed. I'm well on my way to my goal of 250 posts. I should have that by either Thursday or Friday next week.

I'm at odds on whether I should close this thread because it has mention of 100 posts as a milestone, when the first acceptable milestone is 1000. However, the whole newbie to normal thing is fascinating, so I will leave this open.

I became a normal member like 2 weeks after I joined, because I didn't post until my second week. I have a few milestones myself.

Congrats on 100 I guess, I hit 100 in a day before, so it's not a big deal to me, but still I remember my first 100 were the hardest. For me, it got easier from there. Now I make about 30-80 posts per day. Good luck with your posting!
