in order to beat th final extra stage you first go super sayin. then use your tag action with Eggman (the kamehamea) to make gemral vulnerable. then use the kiaoken to damage gemral. totally not a dragon ball z rip off. now all we need magical items to bring people back to life (watches the ending to sonic '06) OH COME ON!!!

In Sonic 1, there are only six emeralds. In the other retro Sonic games, it changed to seven because someone or something thought that six emeralds was a reference to Dragon Ball Z. Don't know if that's true, I just heard that one time.
