I wasn't a big fan of the movies from either eries, but both of them had good books and they were both written very well. I prefer the Harry Potter series to Twilight, mainly because Harry Potter is like the awesomer, manlier version of twilight.

Oh god *shudders to think that these two series were even put on the same list* Harry Potter is on a whole other scale. Twilight was written at a third grade level and its main character is a mary sou. Harry Potter is interesting and was written at a level that all audiences (not just women, fan girls, and children) can enjoy. Harry Potter takes the cake definitely.

I actually joined the Smack a Twilighter Day event on Facebook a while ago. I had trouble finding a Twilighter that I knew well enough that there wouldn't be any hard feelings. I didn't want to smack a random person.

Personally I like Harry Potter better. NOW. There was a time that I liked Twilight better. Mostly because at the time I hadn't really read or watched Harry Potter. To be honest I found Twilight very good. But I liked the books ten million times more than the movies. the movies ruined the series for me. So yes. Like most of the people in this thread I like HP. But you also have to realize that this board is male dominated meaning you wont find many twilight fans anyway.
