This is a poem i wrote when i was feeling lonely and i mostly am lonely. This is a sonnet so it should have 10 syllables per line but some of them might have 9-11. I hope you guys like it and i would appreciate feedback.


Lonely

All alone in this wretched world of mine
Hatred growing in my burning heart
But to everyone I say I am fine
Though I really want to tear it all apart

Life goes never endingly on and on
As I count the miserable days away
Till the day when all of you are gone
Lonely I live to die another day

I wish this loneliness left me to be
So I could enjoy my life with a friend
And then the world could see a happy me
So I hope im not lonely till the end

But this loneliness persists to haunt me
So lonely I live never to be happy
