Yes, I'm including the teachers from all 6 of Harry's years at Hogwarts, although I doubt anyone would choose Umbridge or Lockhart... but which one would you have? but out of the 6 DAtDA teachers Harry and company had, who would you rather have to study under?
Personally I would prefer Lupin. He's talented, noble, fair, and most importantly, sane. And not to mention a werewolf and member of the Order of the Phoenix. Oddly enough, only fairness pushed him ahead of Snape...

Severus Snape, this thread doesn´t say anything about if I was in Gryffindor or not, I could just as well be in Slytherin getting eduaction from someone in direct contact with the dark lord himself.

Quirinus Quirrel: No way. He was a tool for the Lord of all Dark Wizards.

Remus Lupin: The fun teacher who has a secret that is not a decision of his that hurts others.
Barty Crouch Jr.: No way. He's crazier than Quirrel.
Alastor Moody: He would probably be somewhat fun. Besides that, he has the most experience in fighting against the Dark Arts.
Dolores Umbridge: They should have left her with the centaurs.

And the winner is: Lupin!

Snape because you don't have to worry about the back of your teacher's head talking to you, the teacher fleeing the room because of some faries, the teacher turning into a werewolf (I love Lupin though, he's awesome), the teacher turning into a psychopath because of lack of polyjuice, or the teacher being a complete female nutcase

Plus Snape is not as bad as everyone makes him out to be, and he's really powerful. He'd be great for the job. Even if I was in Grifindor I'd still want Snape as a teacher.

Well (not) surprisingly... it's a contest between Snape and Lupin.
To be fair, I like Severus. He's good, and he's been firmly on the side of the light since Lily Potter was threatened. But he has a history of unfairness towards... certain students, whereas Lupin doesn't.

I'd prefer to have Lupin as my teacher, for he is a very welcoming, talented and fair person. And in the books/films it didn't really bother the students that he changed into a werewolf occasionally, did it? If they only stayed away from him at the time of the full moon.

I agree with you, I would choose Lupin. Even though he does have dangerous werewolf tendencies, out of all those teachers he is the most respectable, honest and "do-gooder"...
