You mean Metroid or Super Metroid?
If Metroid, are you using one of the java rooms or the Retro Game Room plugin?
If Super Metroid, Do you get the prompt that tells you to "press the key or button to use for _"?
If it just isn't working, using a different browser helps sometimes.
I also think you need to be a bit more specific about what your issue is first. What exactly doesn't respond well?
