I didn't know what category this falls under so I just put it on General Chat. If something is wrong with it just move it or delete it.



Problem: A few months ago I parted ways with my record label (on bad terms) and I don't use myspace really at all anymore. Since I've quit using myspace (and switched to facebook) it's undergone alot of changes, each one making it more glitchy to use.

Anyways, I have my own songs on there and I can't figure out how to download/rip them to my computer. I should mention that last summer i did a complete system restore or whatever you call that and wiped my computer clean. Now I don't have some of the songs even on cd's anymore. I would really like to have them in case I hit the studio and do new tracks which I would then put up and remove an old one each time. I'm on bad terms with the label and can't get the music sent to me.

This morning I wasted time installing a program that was supposed to auto-download any music I listen to. Well, either I'm an idiot and can't work the program or the program just doesn't work. It could really be either but it seems to be the latter. Does anyone have any ideas on how I could get my own music? LOL... If so, let me know. What would really be cool is if someone just figured out how to download them for me and then sent them to me as files through email, aim, or ym, but I'm not gonna hold my breath on that obviously. I'm going to ask around with other artists and such so hopefully I figure something out. I just figured asking Vizzed users was also worth a shot.

It's definitely a sad situation when you can't even download your own music.

I wouldn't do something like that as Vizzed users are definitely not my demograph or fan base.
