I've just ordered the boxed sets of Tenchi Muyo and Tenchi Universe off Amazon.com. While I'm waiting for them to arrive at my house, would anybody like to comment on the two series?

Oh yea... I remember that one from Toonami quite some time ago. It was pretty long ago, so my mind is sort of hazy on it all. I remember it was pretty funny. Reminded me of Love Hina and some crazy scifi movie somehow combined...

I remember it was funny, had some interesting characters and such. There were like... three seperate versions though. There was Tenchi Muyo... Tenchi (something else) and... Tenchi (something else again). Now that I think about it, I really wish I could watch that series again...

The three series are Tenchi Muyo, Tenchi Universe, and Tenchi in Tokyo. I heard that Tenchi in Tokyo wasn't very good, so I didn't bother getting it...

EDIT: This stupid goshdarn chair my aunt gave me has just now tipped over and crushed the Special Edition Box that contained my Tenchi Universe DVDs. The box is now beyond repair.

I seen all of them. I dislike them all equally. The characters in the show got annoying, plot line was not so interesting.

I guess I found it below my expectations after watching 'better' anime.
