My favorite RPG is definitely Earthbound. Kingdom Hearts and Final Fantasy are pretty high up there but nothing beats beating up hippies with frying pans.

I just started playing EarthBound recently and I really like it. I also like Golden Sun series, Kingdom Hearts series, kinda like Final Fantasy but not as much as the others I listed. I also like Chrono Trigger and the Phantasy Star series.

One of my favourite RPGs is Mass Effect. Not the second one, though. Now, im not saying it's a bad game, in fact, i think it's an amazing game. But what in ME2 the elements that made the original an RPG were tooken out, hence the reason i'm supporting the first game.

Mass Effect started off with a gripping intro, and with the broad character customization and being able to choose your character's "background" (eg. War Hero) really immerses you into the game. Also, you can really relate to each of the characters you meet along the course of the story, which leads up to a stunning conclusion (not gonna spoil it for ya) i think Bioware did an amazing job on this game.
