I'm working on an RPG and was wondering if anyone knew about any music composition software?
I need one to create MP3's and one to create MIDI's. OGG's would also be nice, but they aren't needed. Thanks.

psycoman27 : You could use a program called modplugtracker. The program is a sequencer, so you can use it to make some pretty awesome music. However, you do need to provide your own samples. I know that it can export MIDI. It can't convert to mp3, but there is another program, foobar 2000, which can do that. You might need to download another plugin, but these two programs together have helped me quite a lot.

FL Studio 9 is an amazing program to try. It creates high quality mp3s and oggs or any other format you could want. It also supports midi. It's rather expensive, but it is well worth the price.

tails the fox : Not really, RPG maker was for the first trial to see if it was useful enough, doesn't seem as if it will work now, too much work to get something done for not enough customability, and it's not very user friendly, so if it ever gets finished it will most likely be done in Adobe Flash.
