I don't think t should be remade for the Xbox360 or PS3 because, although the graphics could be unbelievable now, whoever decides to remake it could weaken the integrity of the game by changing the storyline or characters.
That is the kind of thing these new game producers decide on and in this case it would ruin the game i think.

Yeah at first i was thinking exactly the same but im just cautious in case thats what they aim for but end up altering storyline or characters.

Don't worry, I'd be sending it in the bundles as well.
The bosses would be unbelievable, I would love to see the first boss in good graphics. Rather than a collection of rectngles and circles it might finally look like a challenge!

Final Fantasy 7 is one of the few games that I'd say deserve to be remade. I would prefer if they didn't change the game too much if they did, but to vamp it up graphic wize and maybe add in things that they would have had trouble doing back on the PS1. I think that doing a remake and putting it the Xbox, or even the Xbox and the PS3 would be good and I would definitely buy it regardless.

I personally don't usually like it when they remake games. They usually take everything that's good about a game, and ruin it. That happens more times than not.

Why remake a game when you could just re-release the old game? It's an awesome game. Graphics do not make a game....

I'm sure they'll do it sometime anyway, but not until they've remade I, II and IV a couple billion times . IV's getting another remake on PSP, but includes the After Years and a bridge story in between them. Though I don't like them remaking them so many times, I would buy that just for the After Years and stuff like that.

Honestly, I don't want to see a remake of VII until I've seen a suitable remake for V an VI, preferably on a system that is powerful, unlike the V and VI ports to the GBA, which actually downgraded the graphics and sound. While graphics don't make a game, I find it nostalgic just to imagine FF games remade into HD glory lol. A remake would be nice. I personally love remakes (especially the ones that are really just ports with better dialogue, graphics, and some extras). I think it allows the game to always be relevant and reach the next generation.

I'm all for a remake of one of the best RPG's ever made. If they did, all I would want is updated graphics, corrected translation, and MAYBE the addition of the Materia Fusion system from Crisis Core. It wouldn't hurt to put the entire Compilation of Final Fantasy VII in a single, Blu-Ray package either, from Crisis Core to Dirge of Cerberus. Other than that, leave everything as close to the original as humanly possible.
