In Donkey Kong 64, the Barrel Blast portion of the game is messed up. You start falling long before you did in the original game, making them impossible to complete. This is a necessary part of unlocking several characters and collecting all of the Golden Bananas. Is there any chance that this could be fixed?

It sounds like an issue with the ROM.
In that case, the only way it could imaginably be fixed is if it were replaced by a "working" ROM file, but I'm not sure if anyone has the time to do that...
