Whenever I try to access the roms( or iso, i dont know) for DS, it redirects me to retro game room. Help.

And when i try to download an emulator from GYR, it says the file is removed due to TOS violation.

Oh, and Juliet, GYR has no control over the games being removed. The sites that the files are hosted on are the ones that do that. I don't think GYR hosts any files, they just link you to the sites that do.

I was also getting this problem and i even made a thread about the emulators a month before this one and nobody said anything about it :/ I know they have know control over the download links and all but it would be nice even if someone said that they weren't going to reupload the stuff.

i think david has been a little too busy to deal with GYR right now, he's been doing most of the programming and updates around here himself lately, because JS has had a bit too much on his own plate. Keeping GYR updated is very, very time consuming.

on another note, I know why the DS games have been removed. its just too risky putting those games on there. they are still very mainstream and Nintendo is still making a lot money off of the DS, they might get mad and try to get GYR shut down, or worse, since david's name is all over GYR.

I'm simply replying to this in the hopes that when this is fixed I will be told.

I don't download ROMS that often, but that's because I don't need them usually.

The DS is the only system I download ROMs for, so I'm hoping this is resolved soon.

Chronabis pretty much answered things here, plus some of the file hosts GYR was using changed their policies around so that's why so many files are missing.
It's going to be a large task finding another file sharing site that doesnt have a restricted timeout (meaning first download timer is 20-30 seconds but the second one is 3 mins) of that doesnt use a captcha (as a lot of sites are putting that in) but if I can I'll look into things.
People can feel free to PM me suggestions.
