I'm sure everyone by now knows the games Pokemon Heartgold and Pokemon Soulsilver. the first pokemon in your party is by your side, catch johto pokemon, connect with friends, compete in the pokeathlon, meant to be remakes of gold and silver. But there was also a pokemon crystal game. That hasn't been made into a remake yet. Why shouldn't it? There could probably be a lot of neat stuff in it if they do make a remake of crystal.

I don't see the point, I was happy with the gold and silver remakes, but they already took them as far as they could go, making a remake for Crystal would be pointless because it would either be the same thing, or turn out being a remake of a remake, tuurning into a new game. I say just leave those games as they are and move onto new things.

I don't see why they would remake crystal. The things that were added to crystal were included in Heartgold and Soulsilver, so really what is the point in bothering? Also they never remade Yellow, so I think it's safe to assume that Crystal won't be getting a remake.

I say no. The reason: they have already exhausted everything from all of the past games to create a pair of remakes so they can:

A) Provide a nostalgia trip to relive the best games of the series.
B) To try to get us to stop buying the GBA and Gamecube games, and focus on the DS releases.
C) To introduce new mechanics to make thing easier and fun.
And D) To tide us over until they come out with Pokemon Black and White.

So in short, they represent the cumulative experience of the entire series...thus far.
